gauges
Just installed a new aftermarket sterring wheel. I think it looks great. Anyway, with the smaller diameter, I am having trouble seeing my speedo and tach. I have seen gauges that are twisted so the redline is at 12:00, how do I do this for my tach and speedo? Thanks in advance.

If you are doing this to an SC it is really easy. All you have to do is carefully pull them out literally just pull on the gauge it is not held in with anything more than a rubber gasket, turn them to your desired angle and push them back in.

When I did mine I had to use a wide putty knife to get them started before they came right out. I put duct tape on the corners so I didn't scuff the dash when prying. It's easy though. Once you get one out then you can reach in and push the others out from the back.
Good Luck!

You can push from behind to get them started. You should be able to get enough of your arm in there past all the ventilation plumbing and give them a nudge.
I rotated mine, then eventually sent my tach to NH Speedo for this treatment:

For Porsche quality cars... I always felt rotating the gauges was a "kludge" fix..I'm sure guys do it not just to "functionally" get readability...but also to "look racy".....
Imagine, the turn signals pointing up and down !!! ..... etc. GeorgeM's fix....costly... is the right way to go ! .... - Wil

George M, your tach looks great. Don't know if I will be able to get my big mitts behind all the ventilation plumbing to give them a small nugde, but we will see.
Thanks,

Wil,
It didn't even occur to me about the turn signals. Maybe my rotating of the gauges will only be temporay until I go down the same path as GeorgeM.

I found it easier to get the clock out first, then reach through and push the rest out..
