Help PLease- Fuchs verus cookie cutters
 

Can anyone please tell ,me how to determine if a set of Fuchs I'd like to purchase will be albe to fit on my 911S? Is there a conversion chart or compatability chart somewhere someone can please point me to?

I presently have a set of Cookie Cutter mags on my 76 911S, and I have no idea on the bolts pattern or offset of these wheels, and when I look for Fuchs on this BB, it seems like I had better know if the Fuchs I'd like to buy will fit on my car.

The 2 things I do know is the wheels have a 5 bolt pattern and the Proxes on it today are 215-60R-15's.

Can anyone please help me understand?

On a stock 911S you can fit 6x15 or 6x16 in Fuchs. You can fit 7's in the rear with 205 series tires, but it can get close to the fender lips.

All Porsche bolt patterns are 5x130mm. The offset of later, non-Fuchs wheels can be a problem (you didn't propose using those) but in the case of your (our) narrow bodied cars the issue is width.

Do a search, but what you'll find is some guys have succeeded in putting even 16x8 951 Fuchs on the rear with rolled fenders and added negative camber. But what Evill (Ed) said above generally applies. Good luck.
