antenna key?/ alarm key for in-door alarm
My mechanic told me that my antenna cannot be extended without a 'key'. Anyone know about this, or where to find one?
Also, my 84 has a key tumbler in the door, for the factory alarm. I don't have that key either. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. Dave |

the key for the antenna is a small piece with 2 extended tabs on the end to grab the antenna to pull it up The antennas are typically Heishman brand .Your alarm key I'd check the mfr of the alarm and go to a local service center they should be able to get you a new key or contact a locksmith that knows how to impression a lock then he can make you a new key

Dave, if you can't find a locksmith, you can replace the factory key switch with a new one I replaced mine recently for the same reason. Once you have the door panel off it is a straightforward job. Good luck
