Rough idle when oil temp. high

I have a '87 Carrera and has 130k on the clock. Recently, the idle is rough when the oil temperature is a bit above 90c. It goes up and down around 1000rpm. I'm also thinking to add a front oil cooler to it. Has anyone experienced with any brand on this kind of oil cooler? Any input would be appreciated.

First of all, 90C is perfect. Your idle problems could be simple matters of adjusment.

Have your idle CO adjusted and possibly have your base idle speed set.
