Early Heat Exchangers on a 3.2?
I just got a set of early stainless heat exchanges off a 71, will they bolt on to my 3.2? Is it a good upgrade?

Very good upgrade. Are they SSI's? Did that on my 3.2 and loved the change.
Where are you located? Its not shown on your profile. If you are in California they may not pass inspection... but sure sound and drive a lot better!

Wouldn't heat exchangers off a '71 - that'd be a 2.2, right - be a bit small for a 3.2?

DD,
He said stainless so am assuming that they are SSI's and not the original HE off of a 2.2 or 2.4. Even for a 3.2 the pipes are just a bit small but that would give him a bit more torque than the larger pipes on headers.

Yes, you're correct about the extra torque, Joe. I had '74 heat exchangers on my '83 3.0, and that thing definitely had more torque than a stock 3.0.
