Changed coupler bushings, now trouble with 5th gear

First off, I am not very advanced when it comes to auto repair. I know the basics, which is just enough to be dangerous.

I have been having trouble lately finding 1st and reverse in my 1973 911T. So today, I changed out the coupler bushings and the ball cap. When I took everything apart, I did not mark the position of the coupler. Needless to say, when I put everything back together, I couldn't find any gear. I read through the message board, got some tips and was able to set it right. Although getting into reverse and 5th were a bit tricky.

I took it out for a road test and getting it into all the gears was pretty smooth, except for 5th. I was grinding gears but could not get it to go into 5th gear.

Anyone have any knowledge on how to fix this?
