embarrassed to admit, but that used to be my dream car in 80's. I have only seen one in Singapore in 80's, that exact same pearl white. They were extremely expensive, correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the engines were moded by Ruf, 3.4 BTR. Looks a bit "Miami Vice" now.

I have never seen one in person, I hope that I get enough of a warning time to take a Gravol before I do see one....

Cheers

Gemballa Avalanche

Yep, that white one was actually discussed on here not too long ago when it appeared on eBay with a ridiculously high asking price.

Those pods on the side that look like mirrors are actually cameras and are displayed on that T.V. behind the steering wheel.

If you do a search on Gemballa Avalanche you'll find all kinds of cool info.

That exact car used to be for sale at a dealership in El Cajon, CA. They wanted $120k and it was real ugly. Vanilla Ice used to own one and the guy claimed the one he had was Vanilla's car.

Very ugly.
I saw one like it here in Houston a few months ago. It was in for some repairs. The shop owner was embarrased to have it in his shop. Said the additions added considerably to the weight but the owner didn't want much for it. Something like less than $30k since it was in pretty bad shape. I had a fleeting brain fart to offer $15k and convert it back to a 930 slant nose. Lucky for my marraige the fart passed and exited out my ears.
