pan replacement

Should I replace the whole front pan or just the front half if thats all thats thats rusted?

Having done it, I suggest only replacing the parts of the pan that have been corroded. The re-welded seams are never as nice as the original, and as much as you can avoid, the better. I took my driver's side back to about mid way in the gas tank opening since I also had some corrosion in the longitudinal. On the right side, only just up to the front of the opening. Both battery boxes were perfect and origninal (go figure!).

Mine is right between the mounts for the a-arms.
