Brake pads, what do you guys use for street use?...
My brake pad sensor is coming on every once in a while, so I figure I should replace them soon.
Any suggestions for everyday use?

Well, I've driven early, light cars with Ferados and liked them. I've used them hard in the twisties and had no problems.

I had a front early lock-up till I switched to Axxis soft. They don't need any heating. I'm mostly on Hy's.

Axxis ( formerly Repco) Metalmasters or even the less aggressive and more rotor friendly "Deluxe" ( more organic..less "metal") can work well for street use. Also very low dust...as Bill V mentions....

Axxis has a newer ceramic based compound pad which is supposed to be even better, But I have no experience w/ it.

PBR Ultimates (ceramic) for the street and track. Never had any issues, and great on rotors.
