Which way is correct with this 915 bearing

When I rebuilt my transmission some time ago I used the RCECALE rebuild thread as a reference. One thing I noticed today while troubleshooting a baulky first gear shift is that during his rebuild, Randy flipped the direction of the final bearing on the 1/2 stack....I reassembled my transmission using his thread so I also have mine backwards from OEM if you will. Will this make any difference in the function of the transmission or is it a non-issue? The difference is the rounded shoulder on one side of the bearing.

BEFORE...

AFTER...

P.S. These are photos from Randy's transmission...not mine!
