I never had a "blue car turbo engine"

My is a red car turbo type-4 engine and I still got it in the garage last time I checked. I wish it was done.

my mistake. I am confusing you with someone else. The excellence article on a blue 76/77 turbo with iroc backdate is where this yellow car's motor came from- very potent toy!

Why the cryptic responses? It's a stock 3.0 turbo built by Jeff Gamroth for Barrett Smith and was indeed in the old blue car (which has since been totalled in its latest incarnation as black 3.0 IROC w/ 3.8 rammer).

The car has turbo brakes, RS flares and no muffler. Sounds like the devil's own rocket sled when you are behind it, too. Barrett isn't hiding; this car is all over the early S Registry. You can see pics of this car 6 ways to Sunday on the other BBS...
