What a dork !! Sunroof headliner repair-replacement

Guys
I stupidly left my wallet on the edge of the open sunroof, when closing the sunroof the The headliner on the inside of the sunroof closed over the wallet it pushed the headliner and has caused it to become squashed and the front right corner of the headliner is badly chaffed (gad that stuff is like tissue paper ) and and is becoming entangled/fouled in the slide mechanism. Cant be used with doing further damage.

I can still operate the roof, but it needs to be removed, and the liner reattached. Or is there another way?

So, how do I remove the roof panel in an 89 x 3.2 carrera?
Can I order the black perforated sunroof headliner in isolation? does the whole panel need replacing

If you unclip the front edge of the sunroof headliner, it will slide independently of the metal sunroof. It's just a frame that can easily be recovered with headliner material, which I think is readily available.
