Wish me well
After our recent storms in the Midwest we are in our 3rd day with no electricity. Thursday it was 102 deg. but thankfully cooled way down last night. I'm a retired homebuilder so not numbered among the helpless. My obsession with flashlights also came in very handy. Got the last generator at Home Depot on Fri. at 6 a.m. for a measly $1300. I didn't even ask the price. Now I'm backfeeding my main panel and the house is pretty livable. Praying for real power soon. What a PIA. I know it's way off topic but felt the need to vent a little. It's real easy to forget how we take for granted all the things we use every day.
