new cabrio top?
has anyone out there been lucky enough to replace their original cabrio top and if so, i'd appreciate any suggestions regarding a new, OEM or aftermarket top? my original top is starting to show it's age, the local porsche dealer contracts the work out "$$$" and my wrench has someone that "he uses" for about $1,500 smacks which i'm not afraid of, i'd just like a web site, advice or information regarding the real cost, advantages or dissadvantages of using non-german fabrics etc....it's been impossible finding any good information out there on cabriolet issues. thanks in advance.

I used to have a web site in florida that would sell a complete conversion for targa to cabrio kit for about $2000 but had to rebuild my hard drive and I lost the favorite link. I would be interested in whether anyone remembers it. I think I originally found it on the Pelican BB, but don't remember.
