MFI and fuel octane

What octane fuel do you use with your MFI car?

Forget I asked - not that I think there would be many replies.

Search did it.

I think that it has more to do with your CR and cam then with the MFI. I only run 93 octane, but then I've got 9.9:1 S pistons with E cams. This is significant since the E cams close the intake earlier in the compression stroke and thus actually have a higher static CR then the same engine with S cams.

If you are running a T (both Pistons and cams), you should be able to use the fuel spec'd for the car without any problems. I've forgotten which year Porsche started recommending (allowing) the use of lower octane fuel.
