Oil Leak!
Yes, I know...a oil leak and a Porsche..must be the first time this has ever happened to anyone: )! So I walk out to get something and notice that my '90 C4 is leaking oil. It has 50K original miles on it and has only ever leaked about 2 drops when I park it. Now there is too much oil on the floor. I have not had time to check it out further yet, but its leaking from in front of the pass. rear fender, near the edge of the car. Oil Line? I drive it about every 3rd weekend for a few hours and I know its never leaked before. Considering the location of the leak...whats your 2 cents? Thanks in advance Jesse

the oil tank needs to come out and at least 4 hoses are suspect, or hard enough that they need replacing. 2 at the bottom, 2 at the side, the short ones, and it's a good time to replace the long hose from the thermostat below the tank to the oil filter console. that's the usual culprit, and requires tank removal to replace it. there are a couple more at the top, but they usually are ok. don't forget to pull out the dipstick before unscrewing the tube from the tank.
