Thread Lock On Fuel Pump Check Valve
Is it ok to use thread lock on the check valve for the fuel pump and is locktite fuel resistant? I have problems every time I undo the end nut that holds on the banjo fitting to the check valve instead of undoing the nut it undoes the check valve out of the 3.2 fuel pump. My check valve only has a small hex section between the electrical fittings so its almost impossible to get a spanner on it when the bajo fitting is inplace, so I need to try and stop it undoing when im removing the end nut.
Thanks Steve

I don't think it could hurt. If you want to see a piece of ***** website go to loctite.com
Theoretically, the loctite should never see fuel, right? (You mean blue, not red right?)

I think it would see fuel cos the seal is at the crush ring inbetween the pump and the valve after the threads.

Sorry, I was thinking of another style fitting, not a banjo. You are right.
I guess you should try locking a nut/bolt then immersing it in gas.
