Powder Coated Fuchs

I have a set of fuchs with powder coated paddles. Anyone know what to use to remove the powdercoating?

Aircraft Chemical strip or media blast. You will need something pretty agressive.

I did one of mine so far and I have done a set of motorcycle wheels and all of those chemical strippers are just a waste of time and money. There is a great tech article on here about Fuch stripping. Just get some 3M abrasive disks and a good cord powered drill and start going at it will be your best bet. Stagger the abrasiveness of your wheels and then get ready to do some polishing to get the rest of the marks out.

Removing Powdercoat

Thanks guys for the response.

I called Napa and the small store here at the beach doesn't carry the aircraft stripper you referred to. So, rather than a trip to Portland, I decided to try some stuff I had on the shelf. Good old Jasco Epoxy and Paint Remover. Took a while, but did the job (See photo).
