Slow movers

Can anyone offer the reason/s what causes the power windows on my 77 911S to work so slow and or sometimes stop half way up,and after a short pause they continue to work, but still slow?
I just purchased it and recieved it last night, so I'm new to all this. Thanks

On my car the channel felt made the windows slow. It stuck bad enough on the driver side to pull the window out of the channel bracket inside the door.
I'd change the felt first and see if that helps. It's an easy change. Might as well change the other seals on both sides of the window as long as you're in there.

You can do that, but sooner or later I would pull the door panels and take a good lok at all the mechanisms, cleaning and lubing as you go.

I did the after the fact PPI when I bought my car as well. Where you going in Mt. V?
I think I'm still a national PCA member but I haven't renewed the local PCA dues in a couple years.

You'll probably have to remove the door panels to put the felt in so you can clean and lube as Zeke suggested.

Does anybody have a link to changing felt? (..or is this covered in the Bently manual?) My passenger side window does the same thing.

Thanks.
