Speed bumps, spike strips...they suck!

With the new addition of force protection, the military bases have added speed bumps and spike strips! My car is not extremely low, however I did manage to rip apart one of the metal hoops that extends down from the front of the a-arm.

Should I try to have it bent back and weld together, or cut them off and go with something else?

Do you guys have this issue?
