89 porsche 911 - 3.2 engine. problem - sticking left rear brake - so far i have put in all new pads and hardware AND put on a new/reconditioned left rear brake caliper - still sticking. becomes extremely hot after a short drive - other 3 are cool to the touch - left rear is sizzling. took wheel off and tried to get pads out - finally did, but it was extremely difficult.
what's left? should i try new hoses and copper line to the left rear? maybe that rear brake equalizer is bad, but then wouldn't left and right be troublesome? dumb question - other than the obvious - is there any harm with running it with the pads out - 3 wheel brake system - temporarily? will the pistons pop out? jim -- jfinan@hotmail.com |

Sometimes the rubber brake lines develop cracks inside and the rubber comes off making the fluid go in but not out. Please do not run with out the pads of you will crash. Welcome to the board. Thanks Mark

Old fluid build up in the brake lines. Get some new ones. Same thing happened to me on a previous car. You can be all "trick" with the stainless ones.
