Clutch is in
Well I asked and was told by the lot of you that I could change my own clutch. I have worked on my cars my entire life but at the young age of 57 I thought it might be a little much. Ah what the hell. I got a long time friend of mine and off we went. Sorry I don't have any photos, my fingers hurt just typing this. BUT we did get her in. To my surprise what I removed was the ORIGINAL rubber centered disk. I could not believe it. Anyway I replaced it all with a Sachs kit, and while I was in there I installed new shocks and since I didn't have a new one did the best at reinstalling the engine sound pad. Anyway I just cant put into words what I have been missing for the past five years. What a joy to drive now. I forgot to mention she has K on the clock.
PS: I will never do it again!!!!!

Did you notice a small hex screw/set screw on the outer rim of your flywheel? I just got my flywheel back and noticed it sticking out. Is it supposed to be like that. I am at work and cannot take a picture until tonight. Tomorrow I continue work on my clutch project. Thanks!!!
Good job on your project. Dave

Hi Dave,
I believe the hex (allen) screw is what the impulse senders read off, I could be wrong...
