Sport Seats
So I managed to get hold of a pair of sport seats for my 1973 911 via a friend in Germany. They are the correct Recaro kind, but I don't think they originally came out of a 911. The same kind of seat was also used for the BMW 2002 and NSU TT (and possibly other cars as well). My seats are exactly like this one on ebay, with perforated vinyl sides and a corduroy insert. Anybody knows what car they are from?
Also, they don't have the folding-forward mechanism of my original seats. No big deal, but if a conversion is possible I'd consider it. Does anybody have experiences with that? Cheers Axel.

That ebay seat is from a 1969-1973 Porsche 911. The exact years of the perforated side bolsters/cord seat inserts is a question best left to the Early 911S Registry Seat Pollce. Also, no early sport seats came with a fold-forward mechanisms for safer use in high speed track events. But they did come with a tilt bracket that allows the entire seat to swing forward to allow access to the rear.

I have the factory Recaro's in my 73.5.....It doesn't have the release at the front as the one in the Ebay picture does.
