How I pack the trunk for track day.

1) Clear the trunk

2) Cut a 3mm Aluminium liner, don't forget the Carrera Scripts ;)

3) Bolt the Aluminium liner into the trunk

4) Put in tool box and tie down through the one of the liner tab

5) Put in Aluminium racing jack and handles, tie them down.

6) Finally put in the extra fuel container and tie down

You wouldn't know how hard it was to cut the 'Carrera' script !

Make some without the Carrera script.

That is very ingenious. Great work! I'd buy one if you were going to produce them!

You can lower costs by doing vinyl graphics instead of cutting it out. Of course, it doesn't have that dramatic effect, but I'm sure people would forego that for a lower price.

Impressive!

I wish I could pack my four kids as neatly.. :)

Looks really good! Permanent too.

Damn track day stuff does lots of damage to the interior and trunk. I resorted to an old chunk of carpet as a thick liner in the trunk. Still no tie downs to stop things from bumping the hood.

On my way to the track a tool box slid under my passenger seat and wedged itself in so tight I ended up having to unbolt the seat to get it out. My tools however were IN the tool box!

get some prices up for those. I like that a lot but it must have the SC or Super Carrera for mine. :)

Hi Guys,

I was only kidding about cutting it by hand. This is all done by Computer Laser Cut (including the Carrera script). I have no aspiration to sell/market it. It will be cost prohibitive to ship it to the U.S.A from Australia anyway.

That looks realy nice...

Patent the design in the US, then get a US partner to make them.

Nice job Hung. Great way to "flatten" the trunk bottom.

How are the bigger brakes working out?

azasadny 07-31-2006 10:03 AM

Very nice! I'll buy one without the Carrera script!
