? about installing 993 oil filter console
 

Has anyone installed these '94 993 components onto an early 911? Smart Racing has a similar product on page 31 of their catalog. Thoughs? Are the Smart Racing parts and the factory parts the same? Which is more cost effective?

Good question id be keen to know the answer. The big advantage I presume of this setup is that oil is filtered after the tank/pump but before it enters the small passage ways of the engine? I have always been concerned over crud in the tank getting into the oil system so this would be a greate upgrade.
