Headlight Switch Problem

I'm having the following electrical problems on my 1986 Cab: Brake lights work ok until headlight switch is on; when headlight switch is on brake lights on all the time; license plate lights do not work; right turn signals do not work when headlight switch is on. All fuses ok. Should I just replace the headlight switch or should I test it. If I should test it, does anyone know the procedure. I'm lost with all the wires going to the switch. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Jim

I think the factory service manuals on microfiche for $35 from Pelican might just be a wise investment! Even if you have to find a used viewer to go with them! It might be just a bad switch, but, corrosion on connectors, or bad relays, or fuse block problems are all very distinct possibilities, too!
