I didn't think the 73S had the external oil fill cap on the right rear quarter, I thought that was earlier, late 60's??

72 was the only year for the external oil flap.

It is a very nice looking car though! How much do you recon it's worth? I am in Japan now and will be for about a year more. Might be nice to have a p car her to run around, only thing is I cannot bring it home to Singapore with me, when I go back for good.

Auctually getting a car from Japan is not a bad idea. The cars have low miles, and the chaps here take extremely good care of them.

Why is that funny? MANY RS's came from the factory with power windows, mine included....

perhaps you're thinking of the 911R from 1968, it had an external oil filler cap behind the passenger door (like the 911s from 1972).
