Hi,
my cabrio has no head lining. presume it just 'fell to bits / got ripped etc. and was thrown out by a previous owner. From looking at the underside of the roof, it looks like it would be quite easy to just tuck in some fabric ( tucking it in at the front and rear ) to replace it between the outer hood fabric and the metal of the roof frame. I have got some roofing membrane ( breathes and is waterproof )and is thin and flexible. Has anyone else tried this - or can you post a picture of your headlining? Thanks ![]() |

I have an 83 cab, I replaced headliner. You are correct, this was easy ! Cut material slightly larger than area, tuck in the excess. I used some spray fabric adhesive , came out great for almost zero expense. I used a material that stretched a little for a great fit . good luck !
