WEVO 930 Classic Shifter Porn
Hello everyone. I finally bit the bullet and got a WEVO shifter for my 930. I went with WEVO's "Classic" design which uses a tubular steel rod, perfectly replicating the factory Porsche look. I am an engineer the aerospace industry and I must admit to being impressed with the quality of these pieces. The machine work, fit, and finish are all superb. The shifter has removed the "spoon in a bowl of porridge" feeling that has always been there previously. The throws are shortened up nicely and the spring centering of the lever works like a dream. Here I am completely raving about it and I haven't even driven the car yet. I hope to be able to take it for a drive in the next couple of days and will report my findings here.
I also picked up a replica 917 wooden shift knob from the lads at TRE. I absolutely love the combination. It has transformed the look and feel of my interior into a true time-machine. Now, on with the porn! ![]() THE COMPONENTS: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() FIRST GEAR: ![]() SECOND GEAR: ![]() NICE KNOB: ![]() ![]()

Very nice! I like the 917 knob as well. I'm tripping from your side profile pics of the interior shots. What's going on with the halo around the top portion of the boot? Clipping mask? Unsharp masking? Sorry - I spend way too much time in Photoshop

I love that 917 knob. Where did you get it?
Christian EDIT: never-mind I searched and I found wbsfab@netzero.com the guy that makes them.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I cannot wait to take the car for a test drive! Changing it thru the gears whilst parked in my garage sure feels nice.
