Where do these vacuum lines go?

In this diagram, where do vacuum hoses #34 and #36 go? I think that hose #36 goes to the charcoal cannister in my engine compartment from the vacuum hose connector on the clling shroud near the alternator. I think hose #34 connects to the CIS airbox from the charcoal cannister. Can anyone please confirm this for a '74 2.7L with CIS? Many thanks!

Oops, typo there. I interpret this to show #36 going to the engine shroud and $34 going to the CIS airbix. Is that correct?

Can anyone confirm my interpretation of the diagram? There is a vacuum connector on the engine shroud, near the alternator and I believe this is hose #36 in the diagram. There is a vacuum hose connector on the CIS airbox and I believe it connects to vacuum hose #34 in the diagram. I'll hook them up tonight and see if that helps with the rough idling/backfiring. I'll also adjust the timing and try to get the tachometer hooked up again.

These are the vacuum lines I'm wondering about...

The vacuum line/fuel line "tee" is what I'm wondering about. You can see it near the middle of these pics and I have two of the "tees" and I can't find them in any diagram I've ever seen. Am I missing something? Was this connected wrong or is it OK? Thanks!!



Here you can see the two "tees" with the vacuum/fuel lines coming off to the various components (WUR, AAV, etc).

The large lines connect to the air box and the fan shroud. This canister is designed to capture gasoline vapors and ultimately send them through the engine to burn. The idea is to take advantage of the pressure drop between down-stream of the cooling fan and the relatively negative pressure within the air box. This induces circulation to dry the cannister while the engine is running. It should have no effect on the way the engine runs.
