You want a permanent reduction in noise?

Why not just a new quiet muffler?

Or are you looking for a cheap solution?

Looking for a cheap solution - otherwise I would probably just go with Ben's B & B solution - which btw - I sent my old B & B muffler to him so that he could look at the spacing to start making up a B & B option.

maybe just a 2 1/2 bend making the exhaust exit out the back like the dansk cow horn?

but yep that would be cheap - try to make the curve as gentle as you can
