wipers don't return to rest
 

I have a 79 911 SC and when you turn the wipers on and then off they stop and won't return to the resting position. the other problem is that when the switch is in the intermittet position nothing happens with the wipers.

My 76 911s had the exact same problem. Solution: I took off the speaker grill in the dash board (I have no speaker there). You can see the wiper´s motor and all wires there. My problem was just a lose wire. But it could be bad contact on the switch, or even relay problem. By the speaker grill I didn´t find the relay, but I think it should be near the wiper´s motor.
