Pics of my baby.

I've been a member of the forum for a while but never posted any pics. I just gave her a bath so I figured I'd take some images. It's an '84 3.2 pretty much stock that I've had for about 9 months now. I think the paint is a respray but I don't know for sure. Even if it is, it's in good shape so I'm happy with it. I'm thinking about removing the tint but I can't make up my mind. Getting ready to make some exhaust mods. Mechanically she's doing fine and for the life of me I can't find any rust.

Love all the information on the forum. I read these threads and I feel as though I am learning this car inside and out without picking up a wrench.

Looks GREAT!! If the tint job is of good quality, I say leave it in.

And twobone's car looks good with the Targa bar painted. I know most feel the bar should be black but I think in some cases it works.

WOW! How many hours did you spend waxing that thing! It's got more shine than Mr. Clean's bald head.

Man, that color is beautiful, even on a targa.

Looks great! Tint looks good, I was considering tinting mine. Only thing I would change would be to lower it a bit. Remove the gaps above tires.

Nice looking blue. The tint looks good on a darker car. With Guards Red it just doesn't look right to me yet, still debating.

Very good WPOZZZ!

Just curious...what BMW models would I likely see that colour on?

Do you like it?

Mauritius Blue came on the E36 3 series and the E34 5 series. It may have also been available on the E32 7 series. It is a relatively "rare" color, especially on the E34 M5s. The years available on BMWs may have been 90 - 94 or 95.

It also came with the E 31 1994-5 / 840 series too.

kind of like my E39 (Biarritz Blue Metallic):

similar to the pcar too:

mauritus was pretty rare on the E34 M5, probably wouldve kept mine if it was that color (mine was black), 3.8 wouldve been nice too...

Avus blue? My E34 M5 is also black on black. It gets mighty hot in there.

actually the only thing that really bothered me with the car as my dd, was the exhaust. It had eisenmann race exhaust with high flow cats..very loud. The lack of torque in the 3.6 was not my cup of tea either, though the handling was absolutely amazing. I had dinan stage 2 suspension. That I miss.

Very nice color!

Amazing. Every time I see a pic of a vintage 911 and its timeless shape and curves I think to myself - I would really love to have an older 911. Of course I do have one already. Just goes to show I will never get tired of the image of that car.
