Carrera transformation (complete???)

Well I have had my '86 3.2 Carrera for 2 years now and I didn't know at the time of purchase what lay ahead, but the car has been transformed.... the best news is it has lost a few hundred pounds along the way!

MA Shaw ducktail
Rennspeed front bumper
Aero mirrors
H4's
rockerless
tinted windows
stripped down interior
SW chip
countless items removed or modified :D

A big "Thank You" goes out to all of the Pelicans who have directly or indirectly helped the past 2 years!!!

Nice car! Got to admit, though, the '91 style mirrors throw the look off.

Verrrry Nice!!! Very clean looking. I would like to do something similar someday. Love the color.

How much do the magnets weigh for those BIG speakers ??...

I don't get it obviously.... church of light weight... but the music gene pops up and can't be tamed ??

where'd you hide the dme brain? is it the silver in front of the driver side box under the carpet?

Very nice job indeed! And I really like the idea of having subs under the seat. Are those 10"s or 12"s?

logic doesn't always "rule" our lives.... Dr. Spock excluded, of course. :D

BTW - I have since compromised somewhat by cutting down to just one sub woofer set into the passanger foot area and protruding into the smugglers box as shown here by other Pelicans.

Mine was bought used thru a third party so I don't know exactly how old it was, but the fit was very good overall. The side gap got progressively wider as it moved towards the rear of the car. I notice it, others may not. I just centered it best I could.

Very nice car. Mine is very similar. '86 3.2 carrera, same bumpers but with flares.

What did you do with the front oil cooler and the a/c condenser? Did you leave it in the stock location? If so does it get enough air in the summer?

Thanks,

Hal
