Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone had heard of anyone putting a diferent cam in an MFI engine specificaly replacing an "S" cam with a GE 40.

Thanks for your input in advance.

The GE 40 cam specs are very close to the 'S' cam, with slightly less duration and a little more lift, and Bruce Anderson says they are interchangeable for performance applications of the 3.0 and 3.2 liter engines, but he does not specifically address your question directly. Therefore I suggest you contact him by email at: bruce1485@aol.com. Or, you may want to check with Jerry Woods Enterprises, because he was there at Garretson Enterprises when those cams were developed.
