Boxster ECU

Anyone know where the ECU is located on a 98 Boxster?

I think the DME/ECU is under one of the seats, though I do recall that there is some sort of computer on the front wall of the back trunk, underneath the carpeting.

I believe it is under the driver's seat.

Found this old thread where Dave from Pelican said the ECU was by the battery. Therefore, I must be wrong.

The DME Control Module is located in the rear trunk, left front.

What would be the chances of just replacing the ecu to make a fresh water flood boxster run again?
