painting my 81 SC

I am trying to remove some of the trim and windows on my car (81 SC) for painting. I need to remove the rear 1/4 windows. I also want to remove the strip of trim on the doors near the window. Also I need to take the mirrors apart for painting and to lube them, how do I get the rubber off? Thanks Dean

Hi Dean,i've a 78 Targa i'm painting. To remove metal door strip, prise up gently with wide spreader(or similar)it's held down by spring clips. The glass has to come out the mirrow caseing to remove rubber, prise out again(3 clips)to reveal 3 screws.A fiddly job with care needed hot to damage anythig.Good look .Guy.
