Rear Suspension...question?

The left rear seems to sit lower than the right rear...I recently removed and replaced the rear sway bar for an engine drop. Now that shes back to together and running great...any ideas...with the most simple things first? Could the rear sway bar have any effect...I replaced it while the suspension was loaded. If I have time to take a picture...I'll post it.

Hi Jack up the rear of the car both wheels off and unbolt sway bar
and put a index level on the trainling arms .. you can buy one at sears for like $30 .. see if both trailing arms are ar the same degree angle
..adjust them if needed .. or unbolt the trainling arms from the rear spring plates .. and measure on the spring plates unloaded
and adjust if need by pulling off one side and re-spline to match

take care

Ideally you should have the car aligned and corner balanced. With it corner balanced correctly it may sit a little higher on one side than the other. Typically it's not off more than an 1/8" or so.

If you need to raise or lower the rear, each degree of change on the spring plate is about 1/4". If you rotate the inner splines one tooth and outer splines one tooth in the opposite direction, it's about 1 degree.

If you do change the ride height in the rear, you will need to get the car aligned since even if you mark the spring plate to trailing arm, it's very difficult to get it lined up exactly where it was.
