C2 gauges on '76 911S?

Hi,
I was wondering, does anyone know whether or not gauges from a C2(namely clock, tach, and oil press/temp. gauge) would work on my '76 911S? My oil pressure gauge works half the time, my clock just stopped working and I do like the newer look of the C2 gauges, would they fit without any modifications, ie I can just unplug all the wires from the back and attach it to the newer gauges(compatibility?)? Thanks.

P.S. Yes I know I can get it fixed, but I do like the newer ones better.
