Curious, did Porsche ever make any dual outlet twin-pipe mufflers for the 930 turbo, or was this only available on RUF BTR/CTR's?
If anyone is selling a dual outlet, twin pipe RUF muffler, I'd be interested in dealing. I know there are other altermatives, like FabSpeed, B&B, GHL etc, but I want the sound of the RUF muffler ![]() I contacted RUF and they sell the twin outlet mufflers for..... ~USD$3.5k!!! What a rip off!

If you're talking about the versions up to 1989, Porsche never made one for the regular production cars. That's not to say one didn't end up on a car built in the Special Wishes department. Ruf has the best known version. I'd wager that you could make one yourself from a stock Euro muffler.

When you say "stock Euro muffler" are you referring to the twin pipe, left side exit muffler, with dedicated wastegate dump pipe inlet?
Anyone have a pic of what one of these looks like (especially inside)?

James,
Yes. There was also a version (that had twin exit pipes) that didn't have an inlet for the wastegate. The wastegate on the later cars had it's own little muffler. JR |

I just wish the factory made a properly tuned and quiet dual outlet unit
