Their are many places to start,
Does your car have a front fender oil cooler? If not some 911s just run hotter and need to have one Fanbelt slipping?Do you have the upgraded fan? I took my alternator/fan off the shroud and cleaned and inspected the top of the heads While in there I also checked the air channels in the shroud for any blocking(I had some grease in mine)I also ran a garden hose thru the channels and watched for free flowing water thru the engine oil cooler out the bottom Any pinched oil lines ?It takes a severe pinch to restrict flow , I even had one , obviously from a idiot jacking the car in the wrong spot ,it was flattened a bit but not enough to cause a problem. |

When the car is hot is the cooler getting
hot also. If the cooler is not hot then the thermostat is not opening to circulate the oil to the cooler. Joe A |
