Mid America No longer supporting Porsche!
I just got off the phone with these guys and they have very little in stock. Occasionally I try to throw them a bone because the did (not this year) have the summer get together.
With the cancellation of the summer deal and very little in stock my guess is another one bites the dust. For me it looks like it's down to: Pelican (80% of my business) Performance (5%) Mid America (was 5% now no more) and Paragon (15%)

5 is gone now so it's only 100% now. Paragon has now updated to 15%.
Performance just has those deal every once and awhile.

I have found most of the parts at those locations are at or slightly higher than the Porsche Dealer here in town. And the Porsche dealer never has older car parts in stock. I always check them first to keep everyone else on thier toes.

I'll buy all my parts here, except for oil, car wash stuff and misc. small hardware. Why go anywhere else? Pelican Parts and the BBS made my dream of 911 ownership a reality.
This is not a paid advertisement. Unless you have some brake pads and hoses you don't know what to do with, Wayne.

I heard the same thing from Mid America. On the phone they were telling me that they're getting out of the Porsche business and that they hadn't received a Porsche part shipment in over 3 months...

Ouch...Mid America bought out the old Tweeks and now they don't support Porsche? Either there isn't money to be made in Porsche's now or others like Pelican Parts are doing a fantastic job.
I was just impressed and commented on how good a job Scott at Pelican was doing to help a customer create a part number in the computer so the customer could make an order. Does Pelican have this?

I see Wayne's Pelican Global Domination Plot is working. 80% down, 20 to go......

Good
Im kinda mad at mid America for ending the swap meet here in Indy. I once drove all the way out to the so called swap meet in Illinois. No vendors at all just their stuff and some guy from Porsche harassing the few vendors that did show up about whether their stuff was officially licensed or not.
