need to find this tool
Where can I find the spark plug removal tool that think comes with tool kit.
The tool has like a wire spring around the shaft and the socket to help center the plug into the hole, and you use an allen head to tighten and untighten. I've search for it under the "tool" section but cant seem to come up with it. |
Do a search on eBay. There's one there now. Item number is 140016939178.

I have one, but not sure if it comes from my 944 or 911. Do you have a photo of the one you need?

No kidding!:D
After one time of trying to take the plugs out and the socket got stuck on the sparkplug while the extenion gave out, then the socket falls out of my grip and gets wedged down in there somewhere, THEN once the socket was out it took me like an hour to get it back in, THEN it happended all over again. Not to mention the busted knuckles. Personally, I think $60 was a bargain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1:D |

Made by Hazet, #2505-2 ...adjustable length. Middle setting an almost exact match to the factory tool. I carry one in my carry tools roll, keep the factory original for "show". The square end takes a stubby 3/8" drive ratchet, the knurled end perfect for finger work, and the rubber insert grips a 911 spark plug well. With shipping, it'll run you about $55. I wish Wayne sold 'em... |
I use a 3/8 swivel and short extension. Then I tape each connection joint. This has worked well and avoins then pesky socket falling off way in the back
