Question Valve adjustment....when???

Looking for honest/educated opinions on this question:

Had the top end of the 3.0 SC redone (head studs, valve guides, rockers, etc) at 116K miles 2 years ago. Now has 119.5K.

How long would you let it go B4 the first valve adjustment?

Thanks

No need unless they get noisy. The valve gap rarely tighten over time so the danger of burning valves from too small a gap is negligible. The only detriment to driving an engine with too wide a gap is less power and poor efficiency in terms of miles/gallon. Porsche reccommends valve adjustments every 15,000 miles interval.
