Leaky Reverse Light Switch 72 915 (PICS!)

The reverse switch on my 72 915 transmission leaked before the rebuild, so not wanting to skimp on an already monumental job, I sprung for the new switch. Installed it along with a new crush washer and it leaks!. Not around the washer but apparantly from the electrical connections. If you watch long enough you can see it oozing out right before your eyes. I did not see any o-rings etc that I might have missed, but I am leaning this way since this leaks like the old one. Trans and fresh rebuilt engine now in car and I really don't want to pull it again. Have not connected oil lines, axles, or fuel lines yet.
By the way, the skateboard in the pic makes a great engine/trans dolly.
Any advise appreciated!

Jon

One last desperate plea before I drop the engine/trans and pull the end cover. Any trans guys know? Should oil actually get to the switch, or is ther an O-ring around the reverse pin? I rebuilt the tranny about 3 months ago and don't recall.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Warren,
Thanks for the schematic! Problem found as you can see in the photo. This is a brand new out of the box switch for $70 plus that leaks around the electrical connection. The old one did the same, and my brain just couldn't believe that it could be, so I was thinking the worst. I filled a hose w/ redline gear oil and let gravity push it through to confirm.

This will be going back for a replacement!
