Conectors

Can any one tell me what kind of conector fits those round terminals that can be found on some of the sensor/sending units. I forget wich ones now but I think it's the oil temp/press. sending unit? Where can I get these conectors?

Unless you mean 'new' replacement sensors with a 4 mm or 5 mm brass screw thread, I don't know what you mean! The oil sensors I am familiar with have a 'bolted-on' 1/4" male quick disconnect (sometimes with hex nut and washer, sometimes with washer and thumbscrew) that mates with the 'normal' female 1/4" quick-disconnect found in VWs, Mercedes, BMW, AUDI, and Porsche throughout the wiring harness!

No what I'm talking about is a conector that almost looks like a mushroom cap. When I get home I'll have to look and see what conection it is. Warren did you check out that Spyder?

Bruce, Yes, I saw the Spyder, and it looks great!

As far as the 'mushroom' connector goes, if it is flat on top, and 1/4" in diameter ... it takes the female 1/4" quick disconnect connectors, just like the 'spade' connectors! Just one of those 'funny looking' ideas intended to minimize orientation problems with wiring harnesses! The wire can approach from any angle -- 360 degrees!!!
