Almost Free Parts

Hi guys.

I just removed the front bumper on my 86 3.2 Carrera. I'm replacing it with a GT Racing front bumper. If any body needs any the parts I took off, let me know. They're free but you have to pay shipping.

I have:

Bumper - complete with accordians and shock absorbers.
Rub Strip
Marker lights (sorry - I'm keeping the turn signals)
Lower grill with both fog lights - one lens cracked.

If no one takes me up on this by Mon, they're going in the trash.

I'm not advertising anywhere else.

BTW. It's Guards Red.

Check out my blog:

If you need the rear bumper or any of that stuff, let me know. That and the rocker boxes are next weekends project.

Hal

The front bumper looks pretty good. It's a nice hand-layup. The bottom side of the mounts are loose on both sides. Not a big deal, but still

The rear bumper is a whole other kettle of fish. It's the finest looking peice of fiberglass I've ever seen. It looks like it was vaccuum bagged. I dunno, it's clearly higher quality than the front. Evidently, they take extra care because of the proximity to the exhaust.

I've measured temperatures at the catalytic converter over 680 degrees.

I also recommend their rear wing. It's good quality stuff, too.

Thanks. Have you got pics posted somewhere?

It seems there are several that have made these same mods on this board.

Oh. BTW, I'm from Tucson. Let me tell you, Houston is much hotter than Arizona. If anybody ever makes fun that "dry heat" statement, you just send 'em my way and I'll show them what we mean. Houston is nasty hot. You can't work outside without your shirt, shorts and tennis shoes getting soaked through with sweat. It's disgusting. I'll take 115 in Phx over 97 in Houston anyday.

My garage is a/c'd. Otherwise, I wouldn't be doing this.

Sweeny,

Do you have the rear bumper pads? If so how much and how to ship?

Thanks.
