Boge vs. Bilstein struts - advantages?

IF you were going to buy a set of used front Carrera struts, would you look for Boge or Bilstein?

I'm talking about the outer stut itself only - not the "shock absorber".

I'm wondering if the Boge has any issues like the roll pin thing with the Bilsteins?

Is one stronger or lighter than the other?

Randy:

The one advantage of Bilstein struts is the ability to raise the spindles for better roll center location and restoration of lost travel after lowering.

Another advantage of the Bilstein is it's upside down design. This loweres unsprung weight a tad.

My Boges allow some play between the insert and strut. What can I do to fix?
