Future CIS parts availability

Should I be concerned, regarding future CIS parts availability, to the extent that I should perhaps buy now what I may need to replace later?

If that would be good insurance (though I'm sure coming with a high premium), what parts should I buy to have on hand.

My car is an "82 RoW w/out Lambda (has cat & pump when in legal trim), whether or not that pertains to the CIS.

It's my daily driver that I never want to part with

Today there are plenty of CIS parts around from folks like me that have switched to carbs or other intake systems.
Will the cost of CIS parts go up over the next ten years, probably.
I suppose if you have a couple hundred bucks laying around and a place to store parts, it could pay off.

Just buy a spare PORSCHE and take parts off it as you need to.

As Doug pointed out I think there will be a supply of used parts to keep you going.

Most of these CIS parts are so simple in design that they can be repaired rather than replaced.
