Passenger side parking lights

77 911S. Passenger side parking lights not working. Checked the bulbs, they're ok. From what I can see on previous posts, it looks like it's probably the headlight switch? Anyone have this issue, or tips?

Thanks,
Curt

Now I have a later car, but I had one that refused to work. Changed the bulb, but no power - or so I thought. Left it for a year & then looked again. This is from memory, but there are one or two brass "wipes' that contact the bulb (& hold it in). They get corroded & stop conducting. Sand lightly with a fine grit wet/dry sandpaper. Solved my problem.

btw the connection comes off the turn signal connection with comes from the headlight bucket.

Did they ever work correctly since you have had the car?
If so, has anyone messed with the light switch since then?
Do you have power at the right park lamp fuse?

Had similar problem on my 84 when I bought the car. PO connected the right side park lamp on the wrong piggy back connector at the back of the switch.

Simple fix. Checked the voltage drop at the fuse, nothing. Traced the headlight switch, and while I was up there, noticed a loose harness plug. Sure enough, that was it.

Thanks for all who replied.
